From a child's first swimming lesson Jurong East parents sign up for, to private and group coaching for teens and adults, our SwimSafer-aligned programme runs alongside the complex's wave pool, lazy river and kiddy pools — a structured swim class here pairs naturally with the rest of the family's visit. Note: the 50m competition pool is closed for renovation until 31 December 2026; lessons continue in the complex's leisure-pool areas during this period.
Lessons here begin in the calmer kiddy pool areas, away from the wave pool's busier play sessions, so coaches can introduce floating, breathing and kicking without distraction. As confidence builds, swimmers progress through SwimSafer stages at their own pace, with each session picking up from the last rather than starting over.
The leisure-pool features make Jurong East Swimming Complex a popular choice for families turning a swimming lesson into a longer outing — a lesson first, then time in the lazy river or splash pad afterwards. Just note that lap-pool training for more advanced or competitive swimmers currently runs at the nearby Jurong Lake Gardens Pool while the 50m competition pool is under renovation.
