Lessons at Heartbeat @ Bedok start with a quick check-in at the counter before heading poolside to meet your coach. First-timers are settled in gently — getting comfortable with the water, practising controlled breathing, and only moving on to stroke technique once the coach sees the swimmer is at ease. For returning students, each session picks up exactly where the last SwimSafer milestone left off, so progress carries over cleanly between visits.
Because Heartbeat @ Bedok is a multi-purpose hub rather than a stand-alone pool, families often pair a lesson with another errand in the same building — the library, polyclinic or community club are all a lift ride away. The sheltered training pool and learner pool used for most lessons are kept separate from the competition pool, so younger or newer swimmers aren't learning alongside faster lap swimmers.

Operated by Sport Singapore, this contemporary pool sits within the Heartbeat @ Bedok development at Bedok North. The venue opened to the public on 1 August 2017 and suits both lap swimmers and lesson groups.
