The SwimSafer Certification is Singapore’s national water safety program, designed to equip children and individuals with lifesaving water survival skills and enhance swimming proficiency. Developed by Sport Singapore and endorsed by the Ministry of Education (MOE), the SwimSafer program ensures that swimmers progress through structured levels, building confidence and competence in the water.

What is the SwimSafer Certification?
The SwimSafer Programme consists of six structured stages, each focusing on water survival, swimming skills, and rescue techniques. It is a mandatory swimming curriculum in most Singapore primary schools and is also available through private swimming schools like Penguin Swim School.
