Our Aquatike Swim Programme at Penguin Swim School is tailored for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years old. This premium swim programme in Singapore focuses on building water confidence, breath control, and independent movement in the water through fun, structured lessons. Using the SSI curriculum, we offer high-quality toddler swimming lessons at private pools, condos, and selected public venues across Singapore.
Aquatike I (Entry Level for 2–3 years)
Prerequisites: None
Parent Participation: Encouraged
Overview:
Aquatike I introduces toddlers to foundational swimming skills in a safe, playful environment. The focus is on comfort in the water, early submersion, assisted floating, and breath control. Lessons include interactive games and songs to engage young swimmers.
Key Highlights:
Seated entries and assisted jump-ins
Kicking and blowing bubbles using large barbells
Assisted back floats and rollovers
Submersion games and island toy retrievals
Early reach & pull drills to develop motor coordination
Final Goals:
Swim 2 metres with reach & pull movement
10 count face underwater (breath control)
5 count independent back float
Aquatike II (Progression Level for 3–4 years)
Prerequisites: Swim 2 metres with reach & pull, 10 count face underwater, 5 count back float
Parent Participation: Not required
Overview:
This level helps toddlers progress to swimming greater distances with better control and confidence. They will learn to streamline kick, rollover for breathing, and begin windmill arm drills for freestyle. The goal is to prepare them for independent swimming without flotation aids.

Back float and fall-and-float safety technique
Windmill arm drills and swim 3 metres independently
Introduction to rollover breathing
Treading and kneeling dives to build water adaptability

Aquatike III (Advanced Toddler Level)
Prerequisites: Swim 3 metres with windmill arms, independent rollover breath
Parent Participation: Not required
Overview:
Aquatike III develops more advanced swimming skills such as back gliding, side breathing, and longer distance swimming. This level ensures that toddlers are ready to transition into preschool or beginner swimming levels with proper technique and water safety skills.
Key Highlights:
Streamline kick 3–6 metres with proper head and arm alignment
Independent windmill arms up to 6 metres
Tagging arms and one-arm drills to improve freestyle
Independent back glide and elementary backstroke introduction
Treading and basic diving technique (kneeling/standing)
Final Goals:
Swim 6 metres with windmill arms and rollover breath
Perform back glide and elementary backstroke 6 metres
